Internet Explorer 6.x
- On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Move the Privacy Setting slider in the range 'Accept All Cookies' to 'Medium High'
Internet Explorer 5.x
- On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the zone that you want to set the security level for.
- Click Custom Level.
- Under Cookies-Allow cookies that are stored on your computer, select enabled.
- And Under Cookies-Allow per-session cookies (not stored), select enabled.
Netscape 6.x PC and Mac versions
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- Privacy and Security
- Cookies
- Select one of the following radio buttons.
- Enable all cookies
- Enable all cookies for the originating web site only
Netscape 5.x PC and Mac versions
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the Advanced category.
- Click one of the radio buttons.
Important: In most cases, Accept all cookies is the best choice.
The second button means that your computer will not send a cookie to a server that did not originate it. - If you want to be notified when Communicator accepts a cookie, check Warn me before accepting a cookie.
Firewall settings can often be changed to enable cookies. It may also be possible to temporarily turn off the firewall program.
