Florida Bar Association Online
The Florida Bar offers several services to help people find an attorney for access to the justice system. The pamphlet How to find a lawyer in Florida provides an overview of what to consider when selecting an attorney. The pamphlets on the Lawyer Referral Service, and the Legal Aid offices in Florida detail the cost and services of these options for finding an attorney. Lawyers may also be selected from a list of certified attorneys, those members of the Bar who have completed training and testing in a particular area of law. Please see the Certification portion of our site to obtain a description of the 14 areas in which attorneys may be certified.

Tennessee Bar Association
Since 1881, the Tennessee Bar Association has worked to provide Tennessee attorneys with a competitive edge. It has opposed government regulation of the legal profession. It continues to seek modernization of state laws and regulations. For example, a TBA member capably represents the interests of the association at the State Capitol during each session of the General Assembly. Further, the TBA offers the largest range of programs of any continuing legal education provider in the state.

The TBA is the only organization in Tennessee representing the entire spectrum of the legal community, from plaintiff and defense attorneys to judges, government and legal services attorneys, and corporate counsel. A number of attorneys residing outside the state but retaining an interest in the legal profession in Tennessee are also TBA members.
